Unlike all of the other characters in the game, Cait Sith is not one being, but a dynamic duo comprised of a robotised cat and a stuffed mog brought to life by magic.
The Cat
The cat half of the Cait Sith pair is the true silent partner of Reeve. Being a specialist in robotics, Reeve himself designed and produced the mechanical feline robot. Though a robot, the cat moves with effortless quality of any real cat -- it's very hard to tell that the cat is anything but real. It has short, dark grey fur, with white patches on its stomach and mouth. The insides of the ears are pink. It wears a gold crown on its head and a red cape around its neck. Its paws are covered by puffy, white gloves, a physical stereotype of comic characters. Its tail is ragged at the end and has a white tip, as thought it'd been dipped in a can of white paint. It has a button nose and squinty eyes. Of the two, the cat is the more vocal and sports a Scottish accent, paying homage to the country in which the myth its derived from originated. It contains the communicator set up to send and recieve information to Reeve in Shinra Headquarters at any time. It's also able to synch its movements with Reeve, though whether or not this is limited to times when they're close by to one another is unknown.
The Mog
The mog is actually a stuffed animal said to be brought to life by magic. It's about three times larger than the cat, and acts as a transportation device for the small, robotic feline. It's very large and rotund, and has pinkish white fur and a flat head. It's two long ears sticking out of the sides of its head, paired with its teal-coloured button eyes and complete lack of a nose, gives it the frumpy, stuffed doll-like look. With a very wide mouth and two large, white teeth protruding from the bottom row, the mog resembes a monster in the least monstrous way. Two purple wings, too small to allow flight, sprout from its back. In battle, its big fists are used as weapons. The mog can't speak -- the cat does all of the talking -- but it communicates through the varied and comical expressions of its face and arms. On its back, it sports a large zipper, possibly the access point to a hidden matrix of machinery that is what truly makes it move.
