Below are other (much more) fantastic fansites that Cryptic Puppet has the pleasure of being affiliated with. Please check out each affiliated site — you won't be disappointed!
Edge ∫ Barret
After a (much too long!) period of hiatus, Victoria's tribute to Barret is back and ready for action! Barret's a character that, like Cait Sith, has had to put up with a lot of flack, and On the Edge does much to mend the wrongs (and justify the rights!) of his character. Now, anyone who knows me knows I have a soft spot for Barret. (And I like to collect hilarious pictures of him, it's true.) But, despite that, I think it's safe to say that Victoria has done an absolutely terrific job here.
Elegy ∫ Vincent
When I think of a tribute that Cryptic Puppet hopes to be on par with some day, I think of Ivy's dedication of love to Vincent. Ivy's Elegy is sparkling example of an informative but deeply personal shrine. She always infuses her content with her own witty commentary, which makes it far more readable than most. And then there's her design: striking, evocative and complex, without over-complicating. An absolute must-see and must-read.
Locked Heart ∫ Tifa
Victoria's tribute to Tifa is simply alluring. Victoria has infused her shrine with massive amounts of in-depth information crossing the various games within the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, but has also included ample amounts of mythological references and explanations, as well as her own personal comments on Tifa's character and the game. Beautiful.
Irony ∫ Aerith
There's not one thing that isn't fantastic about Maeve's dedication to Aerith. The layout is as lovely as Aerith herself, the content is in-depth and personable, and the media sections provide everything you'd hope and dream for. She even takes on controversial topics within the fandom — namely, the TifaxCloudxAerith debates — and deals with them effectively.
Empire ∫ Rufus
Kitty's dual tribute and fanlisting to Rufus is one to look up to. Kitty has all you'd ever need to know about Rufus, and more. She's analysed him in surprising depth, included way cool fandom sections I've never seen before (see "Cosplay Spotlight"), and she's even takes a stab at the yaoi factor (HURRAH!) Empire is just an all-around fantastic shrine.
Beast ∫ Red XIII
As one of Cryptic Puppet's oldest and dearest affiliates, Kate's shrine to Red XIII has stood the test of time. Kate has covered all of the basics, as well as added in her own opinions — always an interesting read. But the best part is that you can tell how much she loves our darling Red XIII. Be sure to check out the "Y.K.Y.L.R.T.M.W." to see what I mean!
CftS ∫ Jenova
If you don't know Simon's long-standing, flat-out incredible tribute to Jenova, you'd better get your hiney over there, PRONTO. This shrine still fills me with awe, even after all of these years. Packed full with informative, speculative, interesting content, Calamity from the Skies is a classic in the Final Fantasy VII shrining community and an inspiration to behold.
Masamune ∫ Sephie
Yes, I dared to call him Sephie. Nell will forgive me, I'm sure. Moving on...so, we have here Masamune, a thoughtful, in-depth tribute to the number one badass of all time: Sephie. Nell's tribute thrills me every time I visit it. There's so much to read: analyses, an incredibly detailed timeline, and so much more. I bet even Sephie would be appreciative. ♥
